Axe Throwing

Looking for things to do in Kildare ? In this exciting activity, participants are put through their paces testing skill and accuracy using specially made Throwing Axes. Can you hit the bulls eye?

This activity is designed to bring out the ‘Hunter’ instinct in you. Just like the Viking Warriors from times ago you will be put through your paces testing your skill and accuracy using real axes, some of the oldest man-made hunting weapons. Whether just you some friends or a larger group looking for something a little different that will bring out your inner cave person, then Axe Throwing is for you!

Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on group size. Each of our Axe sessions are fully supervised by our trained activity marshals who are on hand to offer support, advice and basic coaching to all participants. Each session starts with a full safety briefing and guidance from your marshal, followed by a practice round. After your practice round you will battle against your whole party where we keep score and ensure everyone gets the most form the experience.

The minimum age Axe throwing Redhills Adventure is 18 years old so it is a great activity for Stag Parties, Hen Parties, Corporate events or even a bit of something different on a family day out. Our range is outdoors but sheltered so please don’t be put off by a little bit of rain.

Heads Up: We also offer Axe throwing along with Traditional Archery, Team Challenges, other Target Ranges and Archery Tag for mobile events, subject to minimum spend. Ideal for bespoke weddings, house parties, events in Hotels where you are staying.

This adds an addtional 45 minutes onto your total Axe Throwing activity time if booked with Archery. Activities will start at the earlier session time of the 2 activities when booked with this option. Kindly arrive 15 minutes prior to the session time.

Make it a birthday to remember and bring your own Birthday Cake for Birthday celebrations! We supply a sheltered picnic area for up to 20 minutes after your activities. Please choose your catering below if required and kindly note the minimum numbers needed for Pizza is 8. You can pay for 8 persons if you still wish to avail of the catering, should your participant numbers fall below the required minimum for Pizza.
No refunds will be given for erroneous bookings.
